Our Story
Kitusacco was founded in 2014 by a group of visionary community leaders in Kabarole District who recognized the need for accessible, affordable, and trustworthy financial services. What started as a small village savings group with just 20 members has grown into one of the most trusted SACCOs in the region.
Today, we serve over 5,000 active members across Kabarole District and beyond, with a network of farmer groups, women's groups, and individual savers. We are registered under the Uganda Cooperative Societies Act and are governed by a democratically elected board of directors.
Our headquarters are located in Kabarole Town, and we operate through a network of community-based agents and group representatives who bring our services directly to the people.
Our Mission
